Iztuzu Beach
Iztuzu Beach is a narrow spit of land, which forms a natural barrier between Lake Köycegiz and the Mediterranean Sea. It is one of the most beautiful corners of Dalyan which is also known for its' rock tombs. Dalyan is located where the sea, the lake, the river, the forest, the beach and water channels meet, it is truly a wonderful location in Turkey. Iztuzu Beach, with a length of nearly 5 kilometers is one of the main breeding grounds for Caretta caretta (loggerhead) sea turtles.
